Accuracy of self-perceived risk perception of breast cancer development in Iranian women

Abstract Background The accuracy of subjective risk perception is a matter concern in breast cancer development. objective this study was to evaluate the self-perceived assessment development and compared actual Iranian women. Methods demographic, clinical, reproductive characteristics 800 women aged 35–85 years were collected with an in-person interview. assessed using visual analog scale (VAS) he Gail model respectively. Gail’s cutoff 1.66% used categorize estimated 5-year as low/average (< 1.66%) high (? 1.66). In risk, if > then individuals considered overestimating.
